one of my favorite singers is Jesse Malin, and here is a track off his last record The Heat. he gets lumped into the whole ryan adams/alt country heap from time to time but for the money he is one of the most gifted songwriters/performers out there today.

well that didnt go as planned.? i wish i was more wordpress savvy.? i tried to upgrade and pretty much screwed the pooch.

so i got my hands on a copy of Carrier’s self titled record the other day, and have totally fallen in love with the sound. i cant find any information on these guys at all, which is too bad cause i would love to check out more. anyway, here is a song from that record.
