look at that sexy son of a bitch!? you cant strike a better cockstar pose than that, people.? chris cornell is not chris cornell without the flowing locks, i dont care what anyone says.? ever since i heard “hands all over” back when i was 16, chris cornell has always been the epitome of what a rockstar should be.? even though i have not approved of his most recent affiliations, i still have the soundgarden records to remind me.? i miss kim thayil.

i love cornell’s voice & soundgarden. but like you, i can’t get w/ audioslave so much. i like a song or two, just doesn’t do it for me. thanks for the songs. fell on black days is amazing.

I suggest you listen to “Shape of Things to Come” and “Moth” on their new album “Revelations”.

“Wide Awake” and “Revelations” are no slouch songs either!!

Chris may not wail as he did in Soundgarden …. but he’s developed a mighty impressive roar with Audioslave. Different time - different sound!!

i dont doubt that cornell is still pretty cool with audioslave, but i cant stand morrello’s guitar work. it worked decently with rage but it just has gotten old.

I dont know why you guys are complaining about Audioslave, I like it… so does the other side of people on which you guys obviously are not…..

Well, I quite like Cornell without “flying locks”. Think he got past the SOundgarden era.

  6. 6 Tudor

But I think he still got his “prophet” aura, his voice still powerfull and weeping.

Thanks for sharing this, his voice still amazes me.

Call me a dog might be one of the finer acoustic songs I’ve heard in many years. Yeah, Chris’s voice isn’t and simply can’t be what it was in sound garden. I guess playing 6 shows a week for a number of years will take its toll on anyones voice? I love this post guys.

As for audio slave..it’s fine. It gives us our Cornel fix and I like that he keeps busy unlike some of the other better frontmen. Hey, I’m looking for some alice in chains too. Anyone know a good post for that?
