oh man every time, 5 in all, i have seen paul its been pretty special. i am just bummed that even though i know it was kind of a disaster, and i probably wouldnt have appreciated it, i still would have loved to say i was there. even though, at the time, nobody knew that it was indeed the end.

greg- I didn’t see the Buckley concert but I was at the Replacement’s concert. Although I enjoyed the hell out of it, I think the fact that we found out later that they were done cemented it as big history. I’d seen them a few times throughout the years and they generally disappointed. Seeing Paul during the 14 Songs tour was the exact opposite. He was unreal. His most recent tour through Chicago had a similar feel. I don’t get to as many shows as I used to but I can’t wait for that sumbitch to get back out there.
