How’s the baby? I think this mix project has been cool because you’re really swimming upstream. Rather than being painfully trendy like most blogs, you posted some stuff most folks are afraid to admit they still like. You could hear any of these songs on any given day on the radio right now. But for those people who have given up on radio entirely, you’ve provided a valuable public service. “Alternative” became the mainstream in the 90’s, now “Indy” is the mainstream. What’s next?

Cool compilation of 90s stuff thanx. I do in fact like some songs too, but I’m afraid to admit so I just listen to them secretly or throw them in at partys where everybody is so hammered that nobody will notice anymore.
i hated most of those songs at the time but i have to say a few of themstood the test of time. especially semisonic. if you want interesting, read jacob slichter’s book ’so you want to be a rock star.’ it has an interesting take on New Radicals….enjoyed your site!
