gay! file this one in the who gives a shit file. last time i checked there was not a huge neil patrick harris “is he, or isnn’t he” frenzy sweeping the nation. i am going to keep on not watching “how i met your mother” in a whole different light now.
i just added a forums section to this here site, and it can be found here. if you have ever have visited the elbows forums, its exactly like that. so, feel free to register if the mood strikes you.
lately, i have been listening to the disposable heroes of hiphoprisy’s 1992 release hypocrisy is the greatest luxury. it was definitely a record that was ahead of its time, even with the increased afro-centric awareness of the early nineties. if you like your hip-hop with overly political tones, then the disposable heroes should treat you nicely. sadly, that was their only release as main hero, michael franti, went on to front spearhead.
television, the drug of the nation
i got an email for a group of lads out of chapel hill named can joann. i have been diggin on their pop/punk ted leo inspired brand of music for the past week or so. i definitely think they are worthy of your precious time. they got a new long player out entitled hurt people hurt people.

The Disposable Heroes also feature on William Burroughs’ 1993 album ‘Spare Ass Annie And Other Tales’ (also on Island Records) as producers and providing backing music for Burroughs’ spoken words.
