in what seems to be an ever growing, and welcome, trend, another group is throwing their hat into the “download our record for free” arena. well, while it is free, a five buck donation is appreciated - of course more would be appreciated too, just even moreso. this time its tuscaloosa, alabama’s the dexateens’ lost and found that is ripe for the taking. this is one of the reasons why i love this concept/practice. while i have heard of the dexateens, i have never heard their stuff. you can say i have always been curious about em, but lets just say our paths haven’t crossed until now and i wasnt going to let my never ending quest for those coveted scarlett johansson nudes to thwart me from getting to know the dexateens. definitely diggin what their puttin down, a little 60’s pop, a little southern rock, and maybe even a little glam is what i am pickin up from em, thus far. definitely more than worth your time, and they’re doing some shows with the truckers so their friends are ok by me.

The Dexateens are the best rock band in America. Yeah, I said it. But, really, thats not saying much in the current state of music. No one is honest anymore, are they? Very little spirit in rock and roll these days. The Dexateens are the proverbial “breath of fresh air”. Rock and roll for all the right reasons. Do yourself a favor and get the rest of their albums - especially their 2nd album, Red Dust Rising.
Very good band… The new album is solid but “Hardwire Healing” is very fucking good. Highly recommend it.
this is weird cause as soon as i started listening to this, i thought to myself this sounds like something blue might be into. no lie. definitely going to check hardwire healing out.
Definitely in my top 3 US bands at the moment. What’s more, I reckon Lost and Found is their best album yet…
