Why on earth is LCD Soundsystem featured twice in the top 10? The whole Menomena album is better than both of their “hits.” I feel like they are nothing new, just rehashed shitty indie
yeah, i dont know. i dont dig em at all. i tried to get into their last record and it just wasnt my thing. i didnt even try this record even once. tried to get into the menomena record too, but didnt take either.
Lipgloss is a genius work of pop art. No joke. It manages to be irrefutably catchy through the use of two instruments, and is a blatant, clever, and subverted poke at modern american ideals.
i’m going to have to go ahead a disagree with you on this one colin. although i understand where you are coming from. there are plenty of intelligent and clever songs wrapped in silly pop song wrappers, but i just dont think this is the case with lipgloss.
