got a kiss from a morning cartoon

Apparently when I posted about YAI yesterday, I had their unofficial, but quite extensive fan site. Meanwhile, their very skint site has a previewette of the forthcoming “Dilettantes.” And then there is this slab of comedic beauty. Tim Rogers is mocking us people - mocking us!!!11!!@!!!!!!

When “Dress Me Slowly” first came out, some copies included a bonus disc of Tim Rogers solo acoustic songs called “Temperance Union”. The title was later used as the name of a mediocre Tim Rogers side project. (IMHO they have gotten progressively worse — I only really like the first one he did, with the Twin Set.)

I once knew a guy at a record store who was a huge YAI fan, and he shared LOTS of b-sides with me, so email me if you’re looking for anything. I have a lot of early Figgs too.

Oops, I forgot to answer your question. “The Smoking Popes” is on “Temperance Union” (the bonus disc that was included with the deeluxxxx version of “Dress Me Slowly”).
