in terms of cool, no one, not even mr dulli, comes close to taj mahal, in my opinion. everything he does sounds absolutely effortless. he cant be just pinned down as a “blues” artist cause he combines so many styles into one cohesive art form and again, all effortlessly. just listen “why did you have to desert me” and try to deny its coolness.

Track 9 is “Colored Aristocracy” from his album “De Ol’ Folks at Home,” which was an acoustic LP bundled with a studio LP called “Take a Giant Step.”
Sorry, forgot the www and the dot-com for my link.
And that LP was called “Giant Step.” “Take a Giant Step” is the name of the title track.

If you search amazon using the words “taj mahal giant step” (but leave out the quotes) it’ll come right up. The higher-priced one is an import but it doesn’t have any bonus tracks.
