a friend of mine made me a wipers mixtape back in the early 90’s and looking back i remember my was “if i want to listen to nirvana, i’ll listen to nirvana. if i want to listen to bob mould/husker du, i’ll listen to bob mould and/or husker du.” so, on and so forth. you get the point. i was pretty ignorant back then, or at least had a tendency to. said mix tape was listened to a few times, but filed away for safe keeping. it wasnt until probably until 2000 that i got around to listening to it again. this time everything clicked. my musical landscape had broadened greatly and there was no more denying that greg sage had, and continues to be aped over, and over again with little to no fanfaire. which i am sure is fine with him. plain and simple, along with the aforementioned artists, hundreds and possibly thousands of artists owe a debt of gratitude to greg sage and his wipers.
you can buy the first three, classic wipers records, re-mastered in a box set for the paltry sum of 17 bucks. worth every single penny, imo.

I’ve tried twice again since (using Firefox all three times) and it technically downloads but refuses to play on my Windows Media Player making the files worthless to me.
have you tried using a player other than wmp? i just downloaded all of em and are playing them via winamp and everything is fine. all i know is that the show has been downloaded more than 150 times since yesterday and no one, other than you, has complained and they always do. so, not too sure what to tell ya..
