hmm, yeah you are definitely going against the grain there mr run up the score. which wilco record do you listen to most? i find myself switching between YHF and summerteeth.

I like the new Wilco album. Don’t love it yet, although some of the individual songs are great. I do appreciate that the songs are more straightforward (maybe I’m a Bad Wilco Fan, but “Yankee Hotel Foxtrot” didn’t do it for me), but the entire album doesn’t compare that well with previous efforts.

thanks for the info rick - i always assumed that it was. chris, you mean you dont celebrate the entire hannah montana catalogue? maybe my lack of interest in SBS is directly correlated to the times that i usually listen to it - which is usually early in the morning, 1am - 6am. i think due to the fact that i am already tired it has an overly mellowing effect on me. who knows. i will try again, and again. trust me.

I really think you should give the new wilco album a solid chance. It’s awesome! I suggest not skipping through the songs though. You really can’t judge an album like that unless you’re a 12 year old girl skipping through the Hannah Montana soundtrack.

Yeah, I really love the new Wilco, too. It has grown on me like crazy. It is relatively straightforward, yes, but I love the songs and the band sounds great.
