i’m another long-time floyd fan (and i’m only 36!), and for personal (and psychedelic) reasons, THE WALL and DARK SIDE OF THE MOON would be my personal faves.
i have old vinyl copies of WISH YOU WERE HERE and ANIMALS, and they’re both great.
…this version of US AND THEM you have here is frikkin a w e s o m e , by the way.
…and i’ve just downloaded your posts on tool, billy joel, bruce springsteen, dylan, sly stone, rolling stones, etc.
…good job! keep it up!!

Hi Captain, I fully agree with Paul. Youâ€™ve already started your Floyd explorations in a very good place.

From my modest point of view, ‘Dark side of the moon’ & â€˜Wish You Were Hereâ€™ (almost fully played at your concert) are two very good albums.

‘Relics’ complilation can show you the Floyd first ‘60 psychedelic years.

Finally The Wallâ€™ (and also its live edition) can offer a worth listening.

These 4 - 5 records can give you a good picture of Pink Floyd career & offer you the wish to get deeper.
I just hope that they can still give you the will to share such beautiful live performances with us.

Gregor: haha, I was dealing with a very unforgiving 3 year old yesterday too (my daughter, actually), to whom I had to show the “Monsters Inc.” for the 50th time (not a joke…). Now I know the storybook by head. If she’ll be older, I’ll let her listen to my Pink Floyd collection. Hope she’ll like it better than Britney… :)
