A friend sent me this, with the sole preface of “This is what I’ve been watching lately.” The title “Gardening On Salvia” only told me he’d gotten his green thumb on a little late in the season. “What is salvia? This guy is teaching people how to grow flowers on slate or something?”

Salvia is a typo. It’s supposed to say SATIVA.
Salvia is correct.
Salvia Divinorum is a member of the mint fmily that grows in Mexico & Central America. It is not a controlled substance - yet.
The old shamen would chew the leaves to induce visions, but iff’n you take a bongload like the gardner in the clip it sends you off on a 15 minute trip where you feel like you’re in your own spinning dimension, adjunct to reality.
