I really enjoyed the Wu album when I first got it, but I’m not sure it’s got the longevity I thought it might. Nevertheless, “Rushing Elephants” and “Wolves” are two of the best hip-hop tracks I’ve heard for a long time.

So yeh, you may as well give it a listen, even if only for Mr Clinton.

There is loads of Funkadelic stuff at emusic. It’s all pretty wonderful. “Good to Your Earhole” is a classic, the kind of jam that the Chili Peppers must have loved!

With regard to George Clinton, I recommend any of his Parliament stuff. Also, his appearance on the Wu-Tang’s “Wolves” from their last album is class.
