on average people fear spiders more than death
well, hey looky here, the fine folks at matador/domino have announced a reissue/re-fancy packaging of pavement’s brighten the corners. been wondering when this would be coming to fruition. i guess the time is now. it sounds as if they will be doing some “buy it early” type shenanigans to entice it to actually purchasing it. i, for one, always welcome that kind of stuff, plus the packaging on the first three have been pretty awesome.
one band to come out of the 90’s that i have totally lost track of is the hothouse flowers. i loved their first three records, and then for one reason or another just stopped caring. as of late i have gotten back into em, and i must contend that their stuff has held up pretty damn well.
here they are playing somewhere in l.a. back on 3.22.93 and broadcasted on kqlz 100.3.
1. dj intro
