in all honesty i cant stomach too much reggae. i dont know what it is about the style that puts me off but maybe this can explain it. it could also be that i dont expose myself to good raggae. i have tried but get quickly burned out on the sameness of the artists. i understand reggae artists stick to the roots quite a bit but mixing it up from time to time wouldnt kill them.
one artist that i do listen to with some frequency is burning spear. two records of his, in particular, are some the finest recordings ever created, hail h.i.m., backed by the wailers, and marcus garvey. i have not listened to too much more of his catalogue outside of those two, but i know i probably should.
here is a show from 4.7.81 in atlanta @ the agora ballroom. its not a perfect recording, but what do you want from a cassette tape transfer?

on a more personal note. if someone could recommend me a good ccna studying guide, or a good set of sims it would be greatly appreciated.
