good evening. i didnt even know she, aimee mann, had a new one in the can until earlier this evening - thanks sma! well, she does, its due out on 6.3 and its called @#&*! smilers. thus far i am through half of it and its pretty damn good, but thats to be expected. me personally thinks she is one of the best, and sadly one of the most underrated, songwriters in rock n’ roll. all of her records are pretty stellar, but her forgotten arm is phenomenal - top 3 from 05. i am hoping for a michael penn/aimee mann record one these days - i am sure it would be glorious. here is the first single.

btw, saw iron man today and it was fuckin awesome. if you go see it, make sure you stay through the credits if you are a comic book dork at all. part two should be pretty awesome w/ the addition of war machine, at least they allude to it once during the flick.
