Sorry about the above, not sure how to delete or edit comments here. Just wanted to let you know that I was dumped from my last host for too many open connections. I liked what you said about imountain, so I checked them out and signed up. I’m extremely happy, they seem to be the only hosting company out there for serious music bloggers. Thanks for the tip!

yeah, i was wondering what “just” was? will leave it there for posterity sake. very cool, i hope imountain works out for ya. i have had nary an issue in the year i have been with em and they happen to be a great bunch of folks too. what host were you with before? sure you dont get the same kind of bandwidth and storage space as you do with dreamhost or hostgator, but what you get is quality and not being crammed on a server with 1000’s of other sites. but try going through a terrabyte of mp3s in a month on the other hosts, you will get shut down in a minute cause your cpu usage will kill the server. enough with the techo mumbo jumbo. glad you dig em..

They’re great and funny. Sonny cracked me up, he’s hilarious. I felt extremely comfortable with everyone I talked to, they’re quality people.

what host were you with before?

Last year, I started with Dreamhost and just ended with Bluehost. In between, I used about 8 different file storage companies, 6 of them went out of business on me. I should write a book about my experiences.

Absolutely. You can talk plainly with them and work out solutions that no other hosting company would either bother with or have the brains to figure out. The download speed is unreal, it’s solid bandwidth.

They way I figure it, I’m spending more than I originally wanted, but what I’m getting for the money is a total bargain and worth every penny.

It was ironic that so shortly after talking with you about hosts, I got booted. I looked and looked, made endless calls and then remembered what you wrote about imountain, so I called them - problems solved! Again, much thanks - I don’t think I’m going to have to worry about hosting like I did before.
