admittedly, i am behind the ball on all things relating to other music sites. so, this mash up site the hood internet may not be new to most of you all, but its new to me and as far as mashups go the guy does a pretty damn good job. i really dig the r kelly and rogue wave pairing. it, oddly enough, sounds like a legit song.

until next time, here is a great soundboard recording of the clash live in akron, oh on 8.17.82 @ the civic theatre.

Wow - thanks for posting this! Sad, I was living in Akron when this was recorded, but I was still listening to my Juice Newton cassettes. Later that year, we’d discover college radio (WRUW, WCSB), one of the Cleveland radio stations (92 Rock) would go new wave/alternative for just a few months and my musical tastes would change forever… and thankfully, I was at least able to see Joe Strummer live at Metro in Chicago, may he rock in peace.
